Event Package Includes:
A 3-hour rental of one of our shaded party tents with wooden picnic tables that seats up to 60 people and a private U-Pick Farm Tour with access to Barnyard Educational Exhibit animals. 15 guest minimum is required. Children 2 & under are free.
3-Hour Tent Rental: $200 (non-refundable)
Guest Admission (3 years & up): $22/person (includes tractor ride, produce to pick and take home, and access to Barnyard Educational Exhibit), 15 minimum is required.
FAQ
When is payment required?
A non-refundable $200 tent deposit is due at time of booking. The remaining balance will be paid at check in based on final guest head count.
What times are available?
Tent rentals are offered at three different time slots: 10:00AM - 1:00PM; 11:00AM - 2:00PM; or 12:00PM-3:00PM
Are the tents covered?
We offer 20’ x 40’ shaded tents enclosed on 3 sides. Each tent includes 10 tables for seating and 1 extra table for food, gifts, etc.
How much time do I have to set up/clean up?
Parties can arrive 1 hour early to set up their space and 30 minutes to clean up. No entry earlier than 1 hour is allowed. All trash and decoration must be disposed of before you leave otherwise a $100 cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file. A trash can will be provided.
Can I store party supplies or food on site?
We do not have storage on site for items or food before or after tent rentals.
Will an employee be able to help transport items before/after my event?
Unfortunately we do not provide employee or golf cart services for tent rentals. Parties are responsible for transporting their own party supplies before and after their rental times. We recommend bringing wagons to easily transport items as it could be a long walk between our parking lot and tent location.
Is outside food and drinks allowed for my event?
Catering is allowed so long as it does not require open flames or an electrical outlet. Tents are not furnished with electrical outlets or refrigeration. Food deliveries must be disclosed to check in staff so they can be directed to the correct tent. Alcohol is not permitted. Cooking on site and food trucks are not permitted.
Are decorations allowed?
Decorations that are permitted include banners, balloon arches, centerpieces, table covers, display boards, flowers, and photo backdrops. We do not permit confetti, silly string, inflatable jumpers, bounce houses, canopies/easy ups, pinatas, glitter, animals, poppers, slime, or live music.
Is there a host or staff member assigned to my event?
Tent rentals do not include a host or designated staff member. Staff will be available to assist with check in and a tour guide part of your U-Pick Farm Tour. Should you need anything or have any questions during your event please notify check in staff.
How many guests can fit in a tent and on the tractor ride?
Party tents can seat 60 people. Tractor capacities are between 50 and 60 people for private events depending on the number of adults and children.
What if it is going to rain during my event?
Should there be rain in the forecast we will reach out via email or phone the week leading up to your event to discuss possible options.
What is your cancellation policy?
Tent rental deposits are non-refundable. All cancellations must be made with 72 hour notice via email to reservations@tanakafarms.com.
Do you offer animal rentals or pony rides?
No we do not rent out any of our animals and we do not offer pony rides or animal feeding. Most of our barn animals are rescue animals part of our Barnyard Educational Exhibit and some are on special diets or medical care. Access to visit with and pet these animals is included with guest admission. Animals include cows, chickens, sheep, goats, donkeys, a pig, miniature horses, and a horse.
